After all the buzz with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, all eyes now turn to the next flagship of the year. The said device is none other than Google’s own Pixel 3. There have been very few leak regarding Google’s next major entry into the smartphone scene lately. Thankfully though we now got hands on another video leak, interestingly, by the same Telegram group that leaked the unboxing video not long ago.
The video showcases a white Pixel 3 model and features a notch on top of the screen, not a welcoming “feature” per se but lots of companies are jumping on that bandwagon for some reason. The video also shows some of the specs of the Pixel 3 XL, among which is a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and 494ppi. This suggests a display in the region of around 6.7 inches based on calculations. At the rear, there is a single 12MP sensor while selfies are taken care of by an 8MP shooter.
Besides the camera setups and screen, the video also suggests that it will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Not quite the flagship treatment we are expecting. A 3,430 mAh battery will be providing power for the package and the smartphone will be tweaked with power efficiency in mind. The video also showed a demonstration of the Always-on display feature which was unveiled with Android Pie.
With all this in mind, however, the tipster reveals that this Pixel 3 is a pre-launch version and it will be no surprise if something will change when the phone actually hits the market. Stay tuned for more updates on the Pixel 3.
