Siemens Contractor Pleads Guilty to Planting ‘Logic Bomb’ in Spreadsheets

A former Siemens contractor has pledged responsible in federal courtroom Friday to secretly planting code in automated spreadsheets he had created for the corporate over a decade in the past that intentionally crashes this system each few years.

David Tinley, a 62-year-old resident of Harrison City, Pennsylvania, was employed by Siemens as a contract worker for Monroeville, Pennsylvania location, in 2002 to create customized automated spreadsheets for varied Siemens initiatives associated to the facility era business.
